Your provider profile is your public listing on Kismet – it is what clients and support coordinators see when searching for services. Keeping it accurate and detailed significantly increases your chances of being shortlisted and secured for enquiries.
How to edit your profile
Step 1 Go to Provider Dashboard → Settings → Edit profile.
Step 2 You will be taken to the profile editor, organised into tabs: Profile, Services, Outlets, Service Areas and Telehealth.
Profile tab – key fields
| Field | What to enter |
| Registered name | The legally registered name of your business (as registered with ASIC). |
| Trading name | The name that appears in Kismet search results – what clients will see. |
| ABN | Your Australian Business Number. Click "Request ABN change" if this needs updating. |
| Email address | Your primary contact email for Kismet communications. |
| Phone number | Your main contact phone number. |
| Website URL | A link to your business website, which appears on your public profile. |
| Referral form URL | A link to your referral form if you have one – makes it easy for coordinators to refer clients directly. |
| Specialisations, Languages & Requirements | Describe your specialisations, languages spoken, and any requirements. This helps with matching to relevant enquiries. |
| About your business | A free-text biography of your practice. Tell your story and highlight what makes you unique. |
💡 Tip – Write a strong "About your business" section: Use this field to explain who you work with, your approach to care, your NDIS experience, and what clients can expect. A detailed, warm bio builds trust and can make the difference when a coordinator is choosing between providers.
Other profile tabs
| Tab | What it covers |
| Services | Add the specific services you offer (e.g. Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy) and the age ranges you support. |
| Outlets | Add or edit your physical clinic locations, including address for each site. |
| Service Areas | Define the geographic regions you service, including home visit and community access areas. |
| Telehealth | Indicate whether you offer telehealth appointments and provide relevant details. |
ℹ️ Note After making any edits, scroll to the bottom of the section and click Save to publish your changes to your public profile.
💡 Tip: Keep your profile up to date whenever your services, locations, or availability change. An accurate, complete profile is significantly more likely to appear in relevant search results and be matched to enquiries.
