Switching to plan management during your NDIS plan is a simple process. Plan management is one of the three options for managing your NDIS funding, the other two being self-management and agency management. The choice you make can greatly affect your NDIS journey and the supports you receive.

Remember, everyone can have plan management included in their NDIS plan and NDIS is legally required to give you funding for it in your plan.

There are several benefits to choosing Kismet as your plan management

  • flexibility to choose from both NDIS-registered and unregistered providers

  • assistance with the day-to-day administration of your plan

  • access to the Kismet app to view your spending in real-time

  • expert advice and support to help you get the most out of your plan.

To switch to plan management, you can:

  1. Contact the NDIS directly at 1800 800 110 or your Local Area Coordinator (LAC) via the contact details on your plan and request a "light touch review" or "desktop review".

  2. Explain that you want to switch to plan management and provide your reasons for wanting to make the change if you are asked. This will help ensure that your request is processed quickly.

  3. Once your request is approved, you will be contacted by the NDIS or your LAC.

  4. If you have chosen Kismet as your plan manager, you can contact us directly and book an initial or follow-up meeting to discuss your needs and our services

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact your LAC or the NDIS directly for assistance.
